Excel Barcode Billing System
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I already have the raw product database and now need a single Excel-based system that can do two things smoothly:
1. Generate printable barcode stickers that show only the Product ID and Price, ready for my thermal sticker printer.
2. Produce a final customer bill that combines an itemised list of purchased garments with the grand total, taxes included.
The workbook should let me type or paste new inventory lines, pick items for a sale, and then click to print either the sticker sheet or the customer invoice. While I don’t require predefined templates or conditional formatting, the sheets must be clean, logically laid out and easy for staff with basic Excel skills to use.
Deliverables
• Master workbook with separate data, sticker and billing tabs
• Automated barcode field that converts the Product ID into a scannable code (Code 128 preferred, but I’m open if another symbology suits Excel better)
• Print-ready sticker layout sized for standard apparel labels
• Invoice sheet that calculates taxes and totals automatically
• Brief walkthrough or notes so I can maintain the file myself
If everything runs error-free and prints correctly from an ordinary Excel setup, I’ll consider the job complete.
