Daily Sales Report Excel

I keep my product inventory in Excel and now want the workbook to do more than store numbers—I need it to turn each day’s transactions into a clear, printable sales report. The report must be produced from the same file (or a connected file, if Power Query makes life easier) and show, for every daily run:

• Product names with the exact quantities sold
• The total revenue generated that day
• Customer details pulled straight from the raw sales sheet

Feel free to reach for whatever native Excel features make this painless—pivot tables, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, or a VBA macro with a one-click “Create Daily Report” button are all fine by me as long as the output is reliable and the workbook stays lightweight.

Deliverable
1. An unlocked Excel workbook (or paired files) that ingests my raw sales and outputs the daily report in a clean, printable layout.
2. A brief set of usage notes so anyone on the team can refresh the report without touching the formulas.

If you can add thoughtful touches such as automatic date stamping, inventory-on-hand reconciliation, or a small dashboard, mention them—those extras will be a bonus, not a requirement.
