Advance filter automation

Parse large data sets using criteria (this is a normal Excel function). The caveat is, the function only copies the information to new files (or tabs in a workbook) and does not remove the results from the main data set. We would like to know what data is left in the main data set after the advanced filters are applied. In other words, what rows of data didn't meet the criteria. For the data left, it would be great if we could have a feature where we could add a new criteria to an established list of criteria used in the VBA code for use on new/future data sets.
