Time-Series Stats in Excel
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a time-series dataset that needs a concise descriptive analysis inside a single Excel workbook. Specifically, I want:
• Accurate calculations of mean, median, mode for the relevant fields over the entire series (or by period where appropriate).
• A clear frequency distribution table that lets me see how observations fall into logical bins.
• Two visual summaries—histograms that mirror the frequency table and box plots that highlight spread and outliers.
Please make everything fully dynamic: use native Excel formulas, named ranges or PivotTables so the workbook updates when I paste fresh data. Charts should be cleanly formatted and linked to the tables, not hard-coded.
Deliverables
1. .xlsx file containing:
– Data sheet (my raw data already loaded)
– Stats sheet with formulas for mean, median, mode and the frequency table
– Histogram and box-plot charts, each on its own clearly labeled sheet
2. A short note explaining any assumptions or range choices so I can adjust if needed.
No need for standard deviation or variance right now, but structure your workbook so I could add them later if necessary. If this sounds straightforward for you, let me know your turnaround time and any clarifying questions.
