Sorting and summarizing Amex charges
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Need to:
1) separate Amex data by cardmember.....one worksheet tab per cardmember, then
2) sort transactions by category (assigned by Amex....for example "fuel"......there are about 42 different categories) on each cardmember's worksheet tab, then
3) total transactions by category at end of each category list on each cardmember's worksheet tab, then
4) on each cardmember worksheet tab, have the totals for each category at the top of the page of the worksheet tab (a specific cell for each total.....the same cell on each worksheet tab), then
5) save the file as "Amex master file (current date)", then
5) create copies of all cardmembers' worsksheet tabs and save each one as its own excel file.....the cardmember name and current date is the excel filename.
For the master file, I will provide a summary page (its own worksheet tab) that will need to be in the macro and summarize all the summed category amounts by cardmember. All worksheet tabs' category totals will roll into the summary worksheet tab.
