I have a time-series dataset that spans several years, and I need to turn it into a clear, month-by-month frequency distribution for statistical analysis. The goal is to quantify how often specific value ranges occur each month, spot shifts in the distribution over time, and make the results ready for further modeling.
The workbook you deliver should include:
• A clean, well-labeled data sheet (or Power Query step) that pulls in the raw numbers exactly as provided.
• A frequency table for every month, generated with reliable Excel functions (e.g., FREQUENCY, COUNTIFS, or a PivotTable—whichever is most efficient).
• A visual summary—histogram or similar chart—so I can immediately see distribution patterns.
• Brief cell comments or a separate tab that outlines the logic, so anyone on my team can audit or extend the approach later.
