Golf course tee placement program
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
On the golf course we have 4 par 3 holes. Par 3's are where you hit one shot from the tee and it is supposed to land on the green, make two putts for a par 3. Ideally, each of the 4 par 3 holes should play a different length so that a different club is played each day.
I need a program to tell me where to put the tee markers every day. I can supply the different yardage possibilities for the tee markers. The problem becomes that the hole is changed every day also. Sometimes the pin is 10 less than the middle, 10 more than the middle, basically all over the place. We have a separate program that choses where the pin goes each day, according to a 3D scan of each green down to the millimeter of slope. I can generate pinsheets (hole locations) about a week at a time.
In the tee program we would manually type in the distance from the middle that the pin would be that day. ie. -5, +8, 0, etc. We need the program to look at the tee position options, pick one and then make sure all 4 holes are 9-10 yards apart. This is for 4 sets of tee markers on each hole.
