Excel Macros for Automated Reports
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I will give you a clean copy of the raw data in an Excel workbook and I need that file transformed into an automated reporting tool.
The goal is simple: every time I paste new data into the source sheet, a macro should run, refresh the calculations, and produce polished summary tabs (charts, tables, KPIs—whatever best presents the information). Manual steps must be eliminated.
Scope of work
• Build or refine VBA macros that pull from the source sheet, organise the data, and populate the report sheets automatically.
• Insert any formulas that are more efficient left in-cell (e.g. dynamic array functions).
• Add clear buttons or triggers so a non-technical user can refresh everything in one click.
• Keep the code readable and commented so I can maintain it later.
Acceptance criteria
• One-click refresh produces up-to-date reports with no errors.
• All hard-coded ranges replaced by dynamic references, so the solution adapts to changing row counts.
• Workbook delivered unlocked, with comments explaining major sections of the VBA code.
If you need any sample data before starting, just let me know and I’ll share it right away. Looking forward to making these reports truly hands-free.
