My 2026 budget workbook is finished from a numbers standpoint; it just needs a professional touch so it’s easy to read, hard to break, and quicker for me to refresh. The priorities are:

• Harmonise fonts and colour scheme, then tidy cell alignment and borders for a clean, consistent look.
• Lock every formula cell and apply sheet protection while leaving input areas editable.
• Build a light VBA macro that simply refreshes data and recalculations in one click.
• Optimise page setup so the file prints neatly without me having to adjust settings each time.
