Custom Excel Data Entry Sheet
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a purpose-built Excel workbook whose sole focus is smooth, accurate data entry. The sheet must comfortably accept mixed data—both numbers and text—while keeping everything clean and error-free.
Here is what I’m after:
• A clear, user-friendly input area with column headers, data validation rules, and drop-downs where appropriate so typing mistakes are minimized.
• Automatic formatting (e.g., date masks, currency symbols, conditional colour flags) to make entries easier to read at a glance.
• Separation of raw-input and processed tables so the original records stay intact.
• Simple navigation buttons or a lightweight VBA macro, if that speeds things up, but nothing overly complex.
• A brief, built-in “How to Use” tab so anyone who opens the file can start entering information right away.
Although the template could eventually feed an inventory workflow, my immediate requirement is data entry, so please keep inventory formulas or reorder triggers optional and tucked away—ready to expand later, but not in the way of day-to-day input.
