Garden Bed Soil Replacement
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
The task is straightforward: remove 30cms of the current sand from my medium-sized garden bed (roughly 11–20 m²), replace with 20cms topsoil, and settle the area ready for planting season. One small tree exists in bed and must remain.
Here is what success looks like to me:
• Sand dug out to 30cm planting depth and put on road.
• 20 cos of topsoil of client put in bed.
• The site left tidy, with paths and lawn clear of loose soil.
You will likely want the usual landscaping gear—shovels, wheelbarrow, a small tiller or mattock, and a sturdy tarpaulin for sand.
Job needs to be complete before 29 September.
