Outdoor Charity Event Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m finalising an outdoor charity event and need reliable hands on-site to make sure everything is picture-perfect before guests arrive. The core jobs are clear:
• Pitch and secure the main event tent, ensuring it is level, taut, and safe for the expected foot-traffic.
• Steam all garments for hosts and performers on the day using a professional-grade steamer so every outfit is wrinkle-free.
• Install the decorations we supply, from table runners to string lights, in line with our layout plan.
We will provide the tent, hanging hardware, décor items, and garments; please bring any specialised tools you normally use for safe rigging, plus your own commercial steamer if possible. Set-up happens on the morning of the event, so punctuality is essential. When all three tasks are complete—tent standing firm, clothes steamed, décor in place—I’ll sign off and release payment.
