I need a proactive organizer who can step in right away and take full ownership of my girlfriend’s and close friend’s shared birthday celebration. You’ll communicate directly with both of them—text or email is fine—to gather preferences, decide on a location, make the guest list, etc.
They’ve already agreed that dinner and drinks should be at a restaurant, but the exact spot, cuisine, and vibe are still open. After securing the venue, pick one fun group activity (karaoke, an escape room, bowling) Once those pieces are in place, collect names for the guest list, confirm RSVPs, and lock in all reservations.
Deliverables I’ll look for:
• Confirmed restaurant booking, with menu or prix-fixe options shared to the group
• Selected activity reservation with all logistical details (address, timing, any deposits)
• Final guest list spreadsheet or doc, including confirmations and contact info
• One-page run-of-show so everyone knows when and where to be
