Zapier Webhook: Eventbrite-Shopify
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have an add-on item in Eventbrite that must automatically create a corresponding order in my Shopify store every time it is purchased. Using Zapier as the bridge, I need a webhook that:
• Listens specifically to the “When an item is purchased” event on Eventbrite (the add-on item only).
• Passes customer information, the item’s full details, and the exact purchase date/time into Shopify.
• Creates a normal Shopify order and—once that order is logged—triggers Shopify’s native confirmation email to the buyer and reduces the product’s inventory count accordingly.
You’re free to build the flow entirely within Zapier or supplement it with a small custom webhook script if that’s cleaner, as long as the outcome above is met reliably. I’ll provide access tokens for both platforms and a test event on Eventbrite so you can validate end-to-end. A brief note on how to edit or expand the zap later would be appreciated, but the main deliverable is a working, production-ready automation.
