Parking Assistance Volunteers Needed

Job ID: 39790175

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

On Wednesday, October 11 at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland, CA, I have two parking-lot shifts that must be covered. The role is straightforward: greet arriving guests, guide them to the correct rows, and keep traffic flowing smoothly as families pour in for the pumpkin-patch festivities.

Shift details
• 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• 1:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Let me know which block you prefer—or if you’re happy to take either one.

What I need from you
Previous event-volunteering experience helps you read a crowd quickly, while good communication keeps drivers calm and cooperative. You’ll be on your feet for most of the day, so the ability to stand for long periods is essential. Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes are a must; everything else, including any safety gear and step-by-step instructions, will be provided once you arrive on-site.

Parking opens right at the shift start time, so plan to get here a few minutes early to settle in and receive a quick briefing. If you’re ready to lend a hand and keep the autumn fun rolling, send a note with your preferred shift and a line or two about similar events you’ve staffed.
