Event Manager for South Australia Agricultural Show
Budget: $2,000 – $20,000 AUD
I'm in need of a seasoned event manager to help me plan and conduct an agricultural show in South Australia. This will include managing logistics, marketing and promotions, and overseeing on-site operations.
I am looking for someone to commence in early 2025 for our September, 2025 Show
Location: Murray Bridge, South Australia. Regional city approx 1 hour east of Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and logistics: You will be responsible for coordinating all elements of the event, from scheduling to transportation.
- Marketing and promotions: You will help to raise awareness of the event and attract attendees.
- On-site management: During the event, you will oversee operations, handle any issues that arise, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
The show will feature a range of activities and attractions, including:
- Exhibitions and competitions: We will have various displays and contests to engage attendees.
- Workshops and demonstrations: There will be opportunities for hands-on learning and skill demonstrations.
- Food and entertainment stalls: A variety of stalls offering food and entertainment will be present.
- Trading stalls: We will include stalls for local vendors and businesses.
- Side show: To add an element of fun, a side show will also be included.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven experience in event management, particularly for large-scale events.
- Strong logistics, marketing and on-site management skills.
- Ability to handle diverse activities and attractions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for on-the-spot decision making.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
- A passion for agriculture and community events would be an added advantage.
