Coordinate DC Church Yard Bazaar

Job ID: 40484228

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m organizing an all-day outdoor bazaar on my church’s private parking lot in Washington, DC (8 a.m.–7 p.m.) and need an experienced event professional to take the lead on coordination and planning. The space will be divided into sections for ladies’ clothes, kids’ clothes, shoes, antiques, kitchenware, plus areas for outside vendors (food, jewelry, craft stalls) and a children’s bouncy house.

Your first assignment is to turn my ideas into a practical site plan and run-of-show that keeps traffic flowing, vendors happy, and neighbors undisturbed. That includes confirming local noise ordinances for amplified music, outlining any insurance requirements, and identifying the correct vendor, health-department and merchandise licenses for DC.

Because I specifically want help with event layout and logistics, I’ll need a scaled map of the lot (I’ll supply dimensions on award), clear load-in/out routes, power or generator placement, waste stations, and a weather-contingency note.

Marketing is next. I’ll handle the content; you design and schedule it: eye-catching flyers, directional signs for each sales section, and a week-by-week social-media rollout.

To be considered, send a detailed project proposal describing your approach, timeline, and comparable outdoor events you’ve delivered.

Key deliverables
• Annotated site layout & logistics plan
• Permit & insurance checklist for DC regulations
• Hour-by-hour event schedule with staffing notes
• Print-ready flyer, poster & directional-sign designs
• Social-media posting calendar with sample copy

I’m ready to move quickly and will answer any additional questions once we connect. Reach me here—or call/text 240-381-9540—so we can make this community bazaar a success.
