Catering Service Operations Manager
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I run a growing off-site catering company and want an experienced operations manager who can keep every event running smoothly from the first inquiry through breakdown. The focus here is strictly on the catering service side, not inventory control or wider supply management—that’s already handled by another team—so you’ll be free to concentrate on what guests notice most.
Your core responsibilities will be to collaborate with our chef on menu planning, build and oversee event-specific staffing schedules, and serve as the single point of contact for our clients to ensure each interaction feels seamless and professional.
Deliverables I’ll measure:
• Menus costed and approved at least two weeks before each event
• Staff rosters finalized and communicated no later than seven days prior, with live adjustments managed on the day
• Client emails and calls acknowledged within the same business day and post-event follow-ups completed inside 24 hours
If you have proven leadership in catering operations, can juggle multiple events at once, and thrive on delivering memorable guest experiences, let’s talk.
