ICD 7.6.1.5 to Maximo Migration

I am upgrading our current IBM Control Desk 7.6.1.5 environment to IBM Maximo Application Suite, specifically Maximo for IT, and I need a specialist who has actually delivered this kind of move before. The initial focus is on Asset Management, Work Order Management and Inventory Management, then expanding into workflow design and the system-to-system integrations we uncover during project initiation.

Your core task is to extract, transform and load all historical and transactional data into the new Maximo instance, validate the results with the business and leave us with a clean, fully operational system. I expect mapping rules, automation scripts, MIF configurations and any SQL you write to be documented so my in-house team can support the platform after go-live. A hybrid working model is fine—most work can be done remotely—but I’ll need you onsite in East Africa for key milestones such as initial discovery and the final cut-over weekend.

Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• Complete migration plan covering data objects, sequence, rollback and cut-over timings
• ETL scripts / Integration Composer packages tested and handed over in a private Git or equivalent
• Asset, Work Order and Inventory data fully reconciled between legacy and MAS after migration
• Configured workflows that replicate our current approvals and escalations
• At least two integration points (e.g., ERP or monitoring tools) proven in SIT and UAT
• Knowledge-transfer session plus concise run-book and troubleshooting guide
