Use ethers.js to connect to MetaMask from React website to get polygon coin balance

This project is best suited for someone who has already implemented this functionality on another website to copy it over from.

I want to allow the user to connect to MetaMask from the website in order to get the balance of a coin in their wallet on the polygon network using ethers.js
