Sales Estimator for Steel Fabrication
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
We are a steel fabrication based in Australia. Due to being short staffed and unable to keep up with customer demands, we require assistance with steel estimating / sales consultations. This role can be performed outside of the country and thus can be outsourced overseas.
We are looking for the following candidate:
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction (relevant degree will be considered)
- Must have experience in an estimating role, doing material take-offs and steel estimation
- Must have sales experience
- Must have good internet connection for everyday tasks
- Flexible with hours
- Professionally presented and well mannered
- Good attitude and team player
These are the tasks you will be involved with:
- Client emails to clarify scope of works
- Steel materials take-off, including base plates and fasteners (depending on scope of works)
- Labour and machine hours input (based on our template)
- Day to day reporting on activities
- Meeting client deadlines on estimates
