Operations manager proposal -- 2

I have been in the construction industry my entire life and in the water mitigation and home restoration industry for over 15 years. Recently I have been looking for a general manager / operations manager position at local restoration companies but haven’t had any luck so I accepted a position at a very well established Restoration/Construction company recently as a construction estimator and though I am proficient and good at my job it’s just not what I want to do . with the number of years of experience I have and the vast knowledge I have of the of all aspects of this industry I feel I would be a lot more valuable and beneficial to a company owner as a general manager/operations manager I feel with my knowledge of all the ins and outs of what it takes to be the best at what we do and my ability to quickly spot inefficiencies in areas of a company and the knowledge of what needs to happen to correct them and make the company run more efficiently and more profitable I feel some one would greatly benefit from me if I was in a position where I was able to make the necessary decisions needed to benefit the company and continually make it more efficient and profitable. The company I started at is very established but was purchased a couple years ago y a new owner that doesn’t yet have the knowledgeable or know how of the industry to understand the changes that could be made to make the company run nearly as well as it has the potential to. I would like to present the owner with a proposal letter proposing that a new position be open and filled by me as Operations Manager this position would be extremely beneficial in multiple ways . Not only would it take the majority off the stress off the owners plate but it would increase efficiency by Ton but it would atleast double profitability in the company as a whole. This position would have multiple responsibilities a few of those being quality control for every department within the company the inspection and final approval on all estimates before they are sent to ensure jobs are being maximized. Ensure every department is operating at its peak efficiency and to make sure all proper procedures and company policies are being implemented . And to ensure that the company is providing top quality world class service to its customers by any means. I would like to present the owner with this proposal in hopes he will understand how beneficial this position would be and that I am hands down the best person for the job and that it could be the most beneficial decision that the company has made up to this point.
