Please read the Google / Alphabet case material and answer the following questions:
• How effective is the approach adopted by Google / Alphabet to develop its organisational capability to achieve innovation?
• Is this approach likely to be sustainable over the long-term? If so, why? If not, why not?
Please apply at least two of the concepts explored in the readings over weeks one to four to inform your answer. Examples include:
Organisational capability, dynamic capability, routines, competencies, human capital, social capital, knowledge management and
organisational learning.
