Biography of Laxmi parsad devkota

Laxmi parsad devkota is a Nepali poet. He is famous Nepali poet. He honored with the title of Mahakavi in Nepal literature . Maya means great and Kavi means poet . Laxmi Prasad Devkota was born in the night of Laxmi puja in 1966 B.S. from the womb of Amar Rajya Laxmi Devi in Dillabazar, Kathmandu.As he was born at a time when the entire Hindu including his family were worshipping Goddess Laxmi , the Goddess of wealth his parents took his birth as the greatest gift of goddess Laxmi .
However he turned out to be the gift of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge .Devko was a brilliant student and did will in school . He was good in both Nepal I and English language . He could write In both language From his early age, he was keen in Nepali literature.
At the early age of ten, he wrote a poem. At the age of 26, he wrote Muna Madan . It is most popular poem .
