Objective: Produce a detailed account of an important British terrestrial TV programme which situates it as an industrial product, as part of a cultural system, and as a core dimension of everyday experience. A strong submission will likely relate your selection of programme (and genre) to wider social, cultural and political change. By stressing ‘important’ above this can also mean controversial e.g. it may have prompted public or political debate about its content.
