TRADACOMS EDI Order Automation
Budget: ₹20,000 – ₹50,000 INR
I need a hands-on developer to stand up a full TRADACOMS EDI workflow that takes incoming purchase orders and drives them straight through our stack—first into the ERP, then on to the Warehouse Management System—without manual touch points.
Current environment
• ERP: live and processing orders daily
• WMS: receives flat-file uploads today, ready for an API or file-drop feed
Scope of work
• Build the TRADACOMS mappings for purchase order, acknowledgement, despatch advice and invoice messages
• Configure automated translation and validation, catching schema or business-rule errors before they hit the ERP
• Orchestrate the posting of clean orders into the ERP and the creation of corresponding tasks in the WMS
• Log every interchange with time stamps and clear error reporting for easy troubleshooting
Acceptance criteria
1. An inbound TRADACOMS order dropped in the agreed directory (or via AS2, if easier) appears in the ERP within 60 seconds.
2. The matching pick/pack job is created in the WMS immediately after the ERP confirms the order.
3. Failed or malformed messages are quarantined and surfaced in a dashboard or daily digest e-mail.
4. All artefacts, mapping files and connection details are documented well enough for my in-house team to support.
