Odoo POS expert

**Reqiurment:**
We need an experienced Odoo POS expert to implement and support our Odoo POS system. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Odoo 15 and/or 16 to advise on the most suitable version for our needs. Customizations and specific features are required. The candidate should understand and meet our requirements, provide ongoing support, and have excellent problem-solving skills. Previous experience with Odoo POS systems is preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
- Analyze infrastructure and requirements for Odoo POS setup.
- Advice which version to install and security measures to configure Odoo 16, ensuring integration with existing systems(printers, cash drawer, screens, and payment gateway pos's.
- Set up 6 POS systems with 2 terminals each across 3 branches.
- Customize POS interface, remove unnecessary buttons, and streamline user experience.
- Configure payment methods (cash and Visa) and restrict access.
- Define access rights for cashiers to their assigned POS systems.
- Create manager accounts, assign to branches, and configure access permissions.
- Assess feasibility of integrating with third-party platforms (optional).
- Provide optional training to project manager and cashiers.
- Document setup, customization, and create user guides (optional).
- Offer optional post-implementation support and guidance.

- Customize and configure the latest version of Odoo (Odoo 16) on our server, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Set up 6 POS systems, including 2 POS terminals (drive-thru and delivery) per system, distributed across 3 branches.
- Customize the POS interface, streamlining the user experience by removing unnecessary buttons and options.
- Configure payment methods (cash and Visa) and restrict access to authorized users only.
- Define access rights and permissions for cashier users, allowing them to access and use their assigned POS systems.
- Create manager user accounts with appropriate access rights, assign managers to respective branches, and configure access permissions.
- Evaluate the feasibility of integrating the Odoo POS system with Talabat or other food delivery platforms (optional).
- Provide training to the project manager and cashiers on effectively using the Odoo POS system (optional - extra cost).
- Document the setup and configuration process, including any customizations made, and create user guides or manuals for future reference (optional - extra cost).
- Offer post-implementation support to address any issues or questions that arise (optional - extra cost).
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo developments and updates to ensure the system remains secure and optimized.
Fees:
The fees for the mandatory tasks will be based on negotiation and mutual agreement. The optional tasks (training and documentation) and ongoing support can be structured as separate milestones and will incur additional costs. We encourage candidates to propose the lowest budget possible while ensuring high-quality service.
