Odoo v14 : Import bank statement doesn't work. Fix it on our server

We have a small issue. Our basic bank import statement doesn't work anymore: om_account_bank_statement_import
After you select file and upload, the popup window simply dissapears and nothing gets uploaded.
I believe a conflict came to pass because I installed another module for handling bank statement imports which in the end was incompatible with my bank. So i uninstalled that module and went back to the generic import bank statement module, but now it isn't working anymore as it should.
this error needs to be fixed on our server directly. So we have to work together while i am online with you to let you work into our system directly to see what is wrong. This is a live server, that contains 2 years of data so it can not!!! be reinstalled our destroyed.
