ERPNext Manufacturing Configuration Assistance
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I have a fresh ERPNext instance for a small-batch manufacturing business and need targeted configuration help so the system mirrors our real-world processes from day one.
Inventory module:
My immediate priority is getting the subcontracted flow running smoothly—raw materials leave our warehouse, operations are performed by an external vendor, and finished goods return with accurate cost postings and traceable stock ledger entries. I’ve already defined basic item masters; what’s missing is the right warehouse structure, stock entry templates, and any scripting or settings that guarantee the round-trip is seamless and auditable.
Production module:
At the same time, I need properly structured Bills of Materials. Each BOM should pull correct material quantities, routing steps, and overhead costs so that subsequent Work Orders will be straightforward once we activate them. I can provide spreadsheets of products, components, and standard operations; you help translate them into ERPNext while validating unit conversions and multi-level assemblies.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• Subcontracting workflow tested end-to-end with sample items, showing accurate stock and valuation moves.
• A set of fully functional BOMs for at least three representative products, each passing ERPNext’s built-in validation.
• A short hand-off document or video walkthrough so my team can replicate the steps for future items.
We’ll work live over a screen-share session or through clear step-by-step instructions—whatever gets us there fastest. If you have previous examples of ERPNext manufacturing rollouts, especially subcontract scenarios, feel free to mention them.
