ERPNext Developer for MariaDB Separation & PostgreSQL Prep
Budget: $500 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for an ERPNext / Frappe developer to separate the existing MariaDB database from our current ERPNext instance and prepare the environment for a future migration to PostgreSQL.
The work will be done in two steps:
1. Separation:
- Cleanly separate the MariaDB database from the existing ERPNext setup
- Ensure ERPNext continues running smoothly using the separated MariaDB instance
2. PostgreSQL Preparation:
-Set up a parallel ERPNext instance configured to run on PostgreSQL
-Ensure both environments (MariaDB and PostgreSQL) are functional
-Provide clear documentation for migration steps and configuration
Requirements:
-Strong experience with ERPNext / Frappe (bench, sites, configs)
-Skilled in MariaDB and PostgreSQL
-Understanding of Frappe ORM and database schema compatibility
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve environment-level issues
Nice to Have:
-Previous ERPNext DB migration or multi-environment setup experience
-Docker knowledge (optional)
