ERPNext Implementation for Steel Manufacturing Plant + HR + Weighbridge Integration
(Project Description):
We are a steel manufacturing plant located in Iraq, and we are seeking a professional ERPNext consultant or team to implement a full ERP solution tailored to our operations.
Scope of Work:
Core ERPNext Modules to be Configured:
HR Module (Employees, Attendance, Overtime, Shift Scheduling, Payroll)
Stock and Inventory (Scrap, Sponge Iron, Billets, Raw Materials)
Manufacturing (Melt Shop, BOMs, Work Orders, Production Monitoring)
Purchase & Material Requests (Departmental requests → Purchasing)
Sales and Delivery Tracking
HR Requirements:
Multiple shifts (8hr & 12hr) with automated overtime calculation
Integration with biometric or NFC/QR attendance
Leave management and monthly payroll calculation based on attendance and shifts
Weighbridge / Tonnage System Integration:
Integration with electronic weighbridge (RS232 or TCP)
Auto-log truck weights (Gross, Tare, Net)
Assign weight records to specific Purchase Receipts or Production Outputs
Maintain log of all incoming/outgoing trucks by date, weight, and driver
Custom Requirements:
Custom forms for melt shop batch logs (Heat No, Temperature, Operator, Inputs, Outputs, Losses)
Overtime rules per department
Arabic/English interface support
Local time zone configuration
Access and Hosting:
The system will be hosted on a cloud server (Hetzner VPS – Ubuntu)
You will be granted root SSH access and ERPNext login
Deliverables:
Fully configured ERPNext instance (ready for daily operations)
HR system working with attendance/overtime rules
Stock and production workflows tailored to steel manufacturing
Weighbridge module linked to material receipts and production
Basic training for one admin user (me)
Documentation and recorded walkthroughs
Preferred Skills:
Strong experience in ERPNext for manufacturing
Knowledge of weighbridge integration (serial or TCP)
Experience with Arabic language ERP setup (optional but preferred)
Bonus: experience with steel, melt shop, or furnace operations
Timeline:
We prefer to complete the implementation within 2 to 3 weeks max, with daily/weekly communication and visible progress.
