ERP Bug-Fix & Development (Kolkata)

An established ERP instance at my Kolkata-based company needs immediate bug fixes followed by incremental feature development. The codebase is already live, so stability is critical; every patch must be regression-tested before release.

You will begin with a short discovery session on-site to reproduce the current issues, then move into source-level debugging, database script adjustments, and UI tweaks where required. Once the backlog of defects is cleared, the roadmap shifts to building new functions that extend core workflows—exact modules and priorities will be agreed together after the initial audit. Experience with any major platform (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or a comparable proprietary stack) is acceptable as long as you can read unfamiliar code quickly and produce clean, well-documented fixes.

Because certain tasks involve access to our on-prem servers, you must already reside in Kolkata and be available for periodic face-to-face reviews; most coding hours can be remote once trust is established.

Deliverables:
• Confirmed reproduction steps and root-cause analysis for each reported bug
• Patched source code committed to our Git repository with concise change logs
• Unit/functional tests demonstrating that fixes hold under normal load
• Design notes and acceptance criteria for each new feature before you start building it
• Final deployment package and a brief hand-over guide for the internal support team
