Dairy Factory ERP Implementation

I need a complete ERP rolled out for our dairy processing plant and the priority is getting production to flow smoothly from raw milk intake right through to finished-goods dispatch. Workflow optimisation inside the Production Planning module is the single most critical element for us, because bottlenecks on the shop floor directly affect freshness and shelf-life.

Beyond production, the platform has to cover every day-to-day function so we can retire the patchwork of spreadsheets currently in use. The initial scope includes:

• Production Planning with deep workflow optimisation tools
• Sales & Distribution linked to route-based delivery and invoicing
• Purchase & Inventory management that handles perishable-stock rotation
• Quality management integrated with lab testing results
• Financials for full P&L and cost tracking
• HR for shift scheduling, overtime, and compliance reporting

I’m happy to build on an established ERP framework (Odoo, ERP Next, or another you recommend) as long as custom dairy logic can be added easily. Please outline:

1. Your suggested platform and why it suits a dairy factory.
2. A milestone plan to configure, migrate legacy data, train staff and go live.
3. Any similar food-industry implementations you have completed.
