Business Analyst for Education ERP System

Business analyst needed for an ERP development project.
Duration - 3 moths to one year.
1. Project Initiation & Planning
Understand the overall ERP project scope, objectives, and timeline.
Identify key stakeholders (management, HR, finance, IT, educators, and administrative staff).
Define business analysis deliverables (BRD, SRS, process maps, UAT plans).
Assist in developing the project roadmap and milestones.
2. Requirements Gathering
Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to identify current business pain points and goals.
Gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements for HR, Payroll, and Finance modules.
Document “As-Is” processes and identify inefficiencies.
Define the “To-Be” state for each module aligning with best practices in the education sector.
Capture integration needs with other systems (e.g., student information systems, attendance, accounting tools).
3. Process Analysis & Design
Create process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system context diagrams.
Analyze current manual workflows and propose automation opportunities.
Work with UX/UI designers to ensure user interfaces align with user needs.
Support the design of role-based access controls and approval workflows.
4. Requirements Documentation
Prepare a Business Requirements Document (BRD).
Develop Functional Specifications for each ERP module.
Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track changes and development progress.
Ensure all documentation aligns with compliance and audit standards for educational organizations.
