Polished eBook Formatting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a completed manuscript that now needs to look and feel like a real, bookstore-ready eBook. What I’m after is clean, professional formatting that will pass the technical checks at Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Kobo, and any direct-to-PDF storefronts. If you typically work in tools such as Vellum, InDesign, Kindle Create, or Sigil, that’s perfect—just let me know what you prefer and why.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Convert the manuscript into the three mainstream outputs—ePub, Kindle-ready file (KF8/MOBI or KPF), and a print-friendly PDF.
• Embed the cover art I will supply, along with proper metadata (author, ISBN, keywords).
• Build an interactive table of contents and ensure internal links and any external URLs are all live and accurate.
• Balance aesthetics and accessibility: consistent chapter headings, typography that reflows elegantly on phones and tablets, and no orphaned lines or odd breaks.
• Provide a quick one-page guide that shows where to adjust things later if I update the text.
If there’s a layout decision to make—fixed versus reflowable, or adding light interactive elements—feel free to recommend the best option for each file type. I’m aiming for a smooth approval process and a polished reader experience, so accuracy and a keen eye for detail matter more to me than speed. I’ll supply the manuscript and cover as soon as we start; you return the three finished files plus the source package so I can make revisions in the future.
Looking forward to seeing how you can make this book shine on every device.
