KDP Book Resize & Layout

I have my manuscript in ePub format and now need it set up for Amazon KDP at 8.5" × 11". The main task is to resize the file, but I’m not yet certain whether the interior will require additional layout work once the new trim size is applied. You can let me know after you inspect the file and we’ll decide together if elements such as headers, images, page numbers or margins need adjustment.

Amazon’s print guidelines must be met—embedded fonts, correct bleed settings, and a file size that uploads without warning flags—so please work in whichever tool you’re most comfortable with (InDesign, Kindle Create, Affinity Publisher, etc.) as long as the output passes KDP’s pre-press checks.

Deliverables:
• Resized interior at 8.5" × 11" in both print-ready PDF and updated ePub
• Source file of your working document
• Brief change log noting any layout tweaks made

Once I approve the resized sample, you can roll those settings through the entire book and send the final package.
