Reduce VOCs & NH₃ Emissions

I’m upgrading our process exhaust system and want to bring volatile organic compound (VOC) and ammonia (NH₃) emissions well below current limits. Emission reduction is the sole focus; monitoring and paperwork are handled in-house.

Right now I’m weighing four control options: adsorption, biofiltration, catalytic oxidation and a wet scrubber. I need a clear, data-driven comparison that shows which technology—or hybrid setup—will give the highest removal efficiency for our flow rate and composition, and what it will cost to install and run.

Please deliver:
• Mass and energy balances for each option, including predicted % removal of VOCs and NH₃
• Equipment sizing, PFDs/P&IDs and key specification sheets
• Estimated CAPEX, OPEX and maintenance schedule for each alternative
• A concise recommendation memo highlighting the best path forward and any implementation risks

If you have experience modelling emission controls, designing full-scale systems or scaling pilot studies, I’d like to see examples. I’m ready to supply gas analytics, flow data and site drawings as soon as we start so we can move quickly to a final design package.
