I’m embarking on a civil-engineering job that centres on construction planning and design and I need an experienced professional to take the lead from concept right through to a permit-ready package. Although the core is construction planning, the project could touch structural, transportation or environmental aspects depending on what proves most efficient on site, so I value someone who can pivot across those disciplines when required.
What I need from you
• Preliminary site assessment with any required surveys incorporated
• Full set of civil drawings (grading, drainage, utility layouts, roadway or access details where applicable) delivered in CAD and PDF
• Supporting design calculations and modelling files
• Phased construction plan that aligns with local codes and safety standards
• Bill of quantities and a high-level schedule suitable for tendering
Acceptance criteria
All drawings must meet local authority submission standards; calculations should be clearly referenced and organised; and the construction plan must be practical enough for a contractor to price without additional clarifications.
