City Drainage & Grading Revisions
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
The city has returned my plans with a round of comments that must be cleared quickly, so I need a U.S.–experienced civil engineer to pick them up and carry them across the finish line.
Scope
• Drainage calculations – I need a full, engineering-grade detailed report that satisfies the municipality’s storm-water criteria and references the latest code sections they flagged.
• Grading plans – the city asked for major modifications, not just spot elevations, so expect to re-establish proposed grades, adjust contours and update cut/fill tables.
• Erosion control – refresh the erosion-sediment control sheets so they match the revised drainage and grading.
I will provide the red-lined plan set, previous hydrology report, CAD files (Civil 3D) and the comment letter. Your job is to revise the drawings, update the calcs and return stamped PDFs and native files ready for immediate resubmittal.
Acceptance criteria
1. All city comments are specifically addressed in a response matrix.
2. Drainage report includes updated pre/post-development runoff tables, hydrographs and BMP sizing.
3. Plan sheets print cleanly at 24 × 36 with no layer issues.
4. A brief hand-off call confirms no open items before submittal.
