Horse Barn Grading & Drainage Site Plan Design
I am looking for a qualified civil engineer or site design professional to create a grading and drainage site plan for a horse barn / agricultural property.
The plan should show the layout of the barn, surrounding ground elevations, slope directions, drainage flow, and recommended grading adjustments to ensure proper water runoff and avoid standing water around the structure.
Scope of Work:
Review property location and site measurements (I will provide dimensions and photos)
Create grading plan showing slopes and elevation changes
Design drainage solution (swales, slope direction, drainage channels, etc.)
Prepare a clean site plan that is suitable for permit submission (if required)
Deliverables:
PDF site plan drawing
Source CAD file (DWG or similar)
Notes and recommendations for proper water management
Preferred Experience:
Civil Engineer / Site Design / Land Survey background
Experience with barns, agricultural buildings, or similar rural properties
Knowledge of stormwater management and proper grading design
