I need someone to research the health impacts of living next to a sand quarry.

There have been proposals to build a large sand quarry near where I live. The plans have been previously thrown out due to environmental concerns. An appeal has since been launched and I want to stand up at the meeting and offer my reasons for why it shouldn't proceed and why the previous decision was the right one.
I feel passionately about this clean air and environmental issue and the plans are being rushed through. Nobody that supports the quarry lives anywhere near it, I know I can give good reasons as to why it is a terrible idea but I need solid evidence, I work 13-16hr days and I'm struggling to find the time to gather the evidence into a comprehensive form before the meeting at the end of Feb.

I need information on the effects on the health of people next to sand quarries.
How much air quality is monitored, typical distances from residential properties and the impact of HGV operations and diesel/particulate emissions.
