Detailed Bushfire Assessment Report
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I’m in the pre-planning stage of building a new dwelling and I need a detailed bushfire assessment to accompany my future development application. The site has not yet broken ground, so I’m looking for a professional who can visit, analyse and document all relevant bushfire risk factors before any plans are finalised.
The assessment must go beyond a basic checklist. I expect vegetation classification, slope and aspect analysis, radiant heat calculations, and a clear BAL rating with construction recommendations that align with current Australian Standards (AS 3959) and local council guidelines.
Key deliverables:
• On-site inspection and data collection
• Full written report including maps, photos and BAL determination
• Actionable recommendations for building siting, materials and required setbacks
• Any supporting data or modelling files used in the assessment
There’s no hard deadline, so you’ll have the freedom to schedule field work when conditions allow, provided the final report is thorough and ready for submission to council. If you can also advise on the next steps toward a full bushfire management plan, let me know—future work is possible.
