Editors & QA Specialists: Join Autogrow’s Growing Team of Super-Cool Professionals

About You
The Ideal Candidate
You: You could be a great copywriter, but your real superpower is having a piece of writing in front of you and instantly finding ways to improve it. You make it more clear, more visual, more persuasive, more in line with what the client wants. And you communicate this feedback in a clear, helpful, and constructive way. You’re a fast reader but never sacrifice quality for speed. You have knowledge and experience in digital marketing. You understand what makes for effective communication and can translate that into written copy so it’s memorable and it ‘sells’. You give qualitative guidance and feedback that is in the clients’ best interest.
You and The Work: Copy editing tasks will be assigned to you daily through our proprietary app. You edit in Google Docs with corrections and feedback (see the “You” section above) meeting all deadlines. Turnaround time is important to our clients and a selling feature of our service. You’ll also communicate with writers and Project Managers on a regular basis. Common copy tasks include blog articles, lead magnets, landing page copy, ads, etc.
Your Experience / Knowledge: 2+ years of experience as an editor. You should be a grammar expert, with perfect English. We can consider non-native speakers if you can demonstrate an ability and deep knowledge of American English. A B.A. or Master’s degree in English is a big plus.

Functionality of all the digital marketing tasks we deliver for our clients
Strategy and functionality behind each funnel we create for our clients
The perfect fit is someone who is diligent, consistent, and truly cares about publishing exceptional content and/or copy that gets results. Our goal is to help people grow their businesses and to help the reader get the information they need (while also helping our copywriters to improve).
