German-Spanish Engineering Manuals -- 2

I’m looking for a native-level linguist who can move comfortably between German and Spanish while staying true to the highly technical nature of our engineering manuals. The job is more than a straight translation: each manual must read as though it were originally written in the target language, with terminology that matches industry standards and the expectations of on-site engineers.

What you’ll do for me
• Translate existing German manuals into Spanish and, when needed, turn revised Spanish content back into German without loss of meaning or tone.
• Run every file through your preferred CAT environment—Trados, memoQ, or a comparable tool—to ensure segment consistency and leverage previous translations.
• Proofread and edit your own work, then give it a second pass for coherence, style, and correct use of engineering vocabulary.
• Research new terms as they arise, updating a shared glossary so the project—and future projects—stay terminologically aligned.

Acceptance criteria
• Final documents delivered in the original layout (InDesign, Word, or PDF as supplied) with no text overflows or formatting drift.
• A bilingual glossary in CSV or Excel containing every specialized term you introduced or confirmed.
• A short QA report generated from your CAT tool showing 100% leverage for repeated segments and zero critical errors.
