Online Part-Time PET English Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to provide high-quality, 1-on-1 online instruction to Chinese students preparing for the Cambridge PET (Preliminary English Test) exam. Your primary goal will be to help students build confidence, improve their overall English skills, and achieve success in their PET exam.

Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver engaging and effective 55-minute one-on-one lessons via our online teaching platform.
-Teach and tutor students on all sections of the PET exam: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.
-Create a positive, encouraging, and student-centered learning environment.
-Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
-Adapt teaching methods to suit the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
-Be available to teach during evening hours in China (typically between 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM China Standard Time).

Requirements:
-Native or near-native English proficiency.
-Prior experience teaching the Cambridge PET curriculum is highly preferred.
-If no direct PET experience, proven experience teaching Chinese students online is essential.
-Excellent understanding of the PET exam format, scoring, and strategies.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a professional teaching setup (computer, headset, webcam).
-TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is a plus.
