This program aims to create communication opportunities between English learners in China and North American English speakers.
Candidates will engage with Chinese English learners via online platforms such as Zoom or Tencent Chat.
The conversation topics can range from daily life scenarios to more complex subjects, all with the goal of improving the learner's language skills while sharing cultural insights with each other.
Key attributes required:
Patience, and the ability to adapt communication methods to better support the learner's language acquisition.
There will be a dozen sessions for a complete communication cycle, Each session takes about 30 minutes.
