Conversational English Tutor Needed
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’d like an experienced English tutor to work with a small group of intermediate learners whose main objective is to become far more confident in everyday conversation. Sessions should concentrate on speaking and listening practice, using real-life scenarios, role-plays, and plenty of guided dialogue so students can think in English rather than translate.
The learners already know the fundamentals of grammar and can read and write decently; what they lack is the fluency and ease that comes from sustained verbal interaction. I need someone who can:
• Design a structured yet flexible lesson plan that prioritises conversational flow over textbook drills.
• Introduce targeted listening activities—short podcasts, news clips, or live discussions—to sharpen comprehension.
• Provide immediate, constructive feedback on pronunciation, pacing, and natural phrasing within each session.
• Track progress through brief monthly check-ins summarising strengths and areas to revisit.
We will meet online, so please be comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, or a similar platform and able to share interactive materials on-screen. If you have experience with communicative teaching methods (e.g., TBLT, PPP) or digital tools such as Kahoot and Quizlet to reinforce vocabulary in context, let me know.
Deliverables: a weekly syllabus with resources, live 1-hour lessons (minimum four per month), and concise progress notes for every student. Looking forward to collaborating with someone enthusiastic about helping intermediate speakers sound natural and at ease.
