I have a collection of Spanish toddler stories, each running well past the six-page mark, that I want rendered into gentle, easy-to-understand English. The audience is babies and very young toddlers (0-2 years), so every line needs to stay warm, rhythmic, and simple—no advanced words or cultural references, just the sweet everyday language little ears respond to.
Your task is to take each Spanish manuscript and deliver an English version that keeps the original charm: short sentences, clear repetition, playful sounds, and plenty of room for caregivers to read aloud with expression. Because the stories are long for picture-book standards, pacing and flow matter; I’d like you to preserve paragraph breaks and any onomatopoeia exactly as they appear.
Deliverables
• One Microsoft Word file per story, with Spanish and English on facing pages (Spanish on the left, English on the right) for easy review
• A clean, English-only PDF ready for layout
I’ll supply the first story upon kickoff so you can demonstrate your approach, and once that is approved we’ll move through the rest as a rolling set. Please note: no specialised vocabulary is involved, just everyday toddler-friendly words. Consistency and a light, melodic tone are what count here.
