Spanish-English Textbook Translation
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I have several university-level educational books that teach the French language, all currently written in Spanish. I need each title rendered into clear, natural English while preserving every pedagogical feature—chapter sequencing, exercises, tables, vocabulary lists, and any marginal notes. Because the content is instructional rather than literary, tone accuracy and terminology consistency are more important than creative flair.
You will work from the Spanish originals and deliver polished English manuscripts that lecturers and students can rely on straight away, with no loss of academic rigor. Please keep formatting intact (headings, bullet points, footnotes) and flag any cultural references or idioms that may need brief explanation for an English-speaking audience.
Deliverables
• Complete English version of each book in editable Word or Google Docs format
• Same pagination and layout markers as the source files for easy typesetting
I’ll supply the first book as soon as we agree on scope; subsequent volumes will follow once the translation style is set. Let me know your turnaround time for roughly 300 pages, the CAT tools (if any) you prefer, and one sample of prior educational translation work so I can gauge fit.
