Spanish-English Kids Educational Translation
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I have a batch of Spanish educational materials aimed at 9- to 12-year-olds and I need them translated into natural, engaging English that still feels age-appropriate for upper-elementary readers. The texts include short reading passages, worksheets, and a few explanatory notes teachers use in class. Accuracy is important, but so is tone: lively enough to hold a pre-teen’s attention without sounding babyish or overly academic.
Here’s what I expect from you:
• A complete English version of every file, delivered in the same order and basic layout as the originals (I work in Google Docs and Word, so either format is fine).
• Clear, concise language that matches a U.S. grade-level reading score of roughly 4–6.
• Consistency in terminology across the whole set.
I’ll provide the Spanish originals as editable docs plus a short glossary of terms already agreed with the publisher. When you return the translation, please run a final spell-check and make sure any embedded instructions to teachers remain highlighted or bolded exactly as in the source.
